Anderson has taught in her school's Summer Success Program and more recently, teaches in the STEM Summer Enrichment Program.

In addition to teaching, she has served as a Department Resource Leader, worked extensively on curriculum mapping, and has hosted many student teachers. As a driven and dedicated math teacher, she has taught 7th and 8th graders at Glens Falls City School for 15 years. Anderson was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National All-Academic Honor Society. Schaffer Award, the SUNY Scholarship for Academic Achievement, and the Ingrun Lafleur Memorial Scholarship Award during her studies. Yvonne Anderson graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Plattsburgh with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education, and earned her MS in Curriculum and Instruction, earning the Kathleen T.
